Beethoven-Marathon
17.00 – 17.30* / 18.00 – 18.30
Thomas Kimmerle & KuKuG e.V. present: Andreas Theobald Organ Trio
The repertoire of the Andreas Theobald Organ Trio includes modern interpretations of jazz standards as well as compositions by the three young musicians. How Beethoven would have used the approximately 250 million sound combinations for his works remains a mystery, but he would have used them in any case.
17.30 – 18.00
KuKuG e.V. presents the Electoral Beethoven Festival 2020
Our association is therefore also planning an Electoral Beethoven Festival for August 2020 at an authentic location, in and around the Redoute. We would like to take the guests back to Beethoven’s time. We’ll report on our plans that evening.
Committed, motivated, dynamic, creative and nice – that’s how we are!
Our association KuKuG e.V. was founded in March 2019. It is non-profit and its statutory purpose is the promotion of “Art and Culture in Bad Godesberg”. We plan and organize art and cultural events with great passion. The focus of our work, which is carried out on an honorary basis, is a colorful program for every taste. Reason for us to take part in the Beethoven Marathon, because Ludwig van Beethoven belongs not only to Bonn but also to Bad Godesberg. From here he went to Vienna. Our association is therefore also planning an Electoral Beethoven Festival for August 2020 at an authentic location, in and around the Redoute. We would like to take the guests back to Beethoven’s time.
We’ll report on our plans that evening. As a prelude, the Beethoven Marathon fits perfectly and we are very happy about the cooperation with Thomas Kimmerle and the Andreas Theobald Organ Trio. We hope for very exciting music and conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.
Thomas Kimmerle stands for the concert series JAZZ IN CONCERT at the Pantheon Theater for many years. Since 2012 he has been Artistic Director of the JazzTube Festival in Bonn, also he works as Big Band Leader (Youth Jazz Orchestra Bonn, AKO Big Band) and Saxophonist (Thomas Kimmerle Jazztet, Bonn Jazz Orchestra).
